This is so hard

 I have avoided the mug rugs for years.  My thinking was they were just too small to mess with and who would use them.  Then I needed some coasters and finding just what I wanted was, well impossible.  Along comes the No Ring November Blog Hop and I see all the pretty Christmas mug rugs as well as many others and I am off to the races.  

Check out this blog hop.  You may get excited about mug rugs too.  Below I am showing some of the hot pads I have been working on.  With a little imagination these could be made into small snack mats or even mug rugs.  Who knows?
