Still snowing and more is coming on Sunday but I am retired and do not have to go out in it. I do feel bad for all those who still have to fight the elements to get to work, and I especially feel love and appreciation for all those who go out every day to work in this cold and snow. My dad and my husband both were dairy farmers and they were out in the cold, heat, storms, and rain every single day. And I worked for a local city government that maintained their own Municipal Power Plant and I saw the linemen work in horrible conditions to keep the power on for all of us. I have nothing but respect for all those who give their working lives to that end.
I have been absent on here for a while so I decided to link up with
quiltshopgal for the January Creative Goodness Weekly Linky Party. I made this quilt many moons ago, but I still love the pattern and love making them. I think I have made about 8 of them in different colors but I really like the white one the best. Too bad it reminds me of all the snow in our back yard.
Stay Warm and...
Keep on Quiltin'!
