So Happy!!

I just had to share this.  I entered my Iris Garden quilt in our local county fair and here are the results. I won Best in Show for machine quilting!  I was so happy I was doing my happy dance.

This was a lot of work but I really loved the pattern and the look.  It was the first time I had ever done needle turn applique so it was a challenge from the beginning.  Now on to the next challenge.  I will be starting free motion quilting lessons and I may try to establish a new quilting group/guild for my area.  Onward...and remember...
