One more done

I have successfully finished the tee shirt quilt for a customer.  I think it turned out very well. I had some trouble deciding whether to use fusible webbing for a stabilizer on the tee shirts.  Some say that the fusible webbing makes the quilt "stiff".  But I found that not to be the case.  This quilt turned out very soft and pliable and I feel it was so much easier to square everything up.  I definitely will be using the stabilizer method again.

I really had a good time making this quilt.  I hope my customer likes it as much as I do.  I would use this quilt every day if it were mine.  I think I will be making a tee shirt quilt for myself very soon!

And remember...

Keep on Quiltin'!

  1. You did a fantastic job on this quilt!! I've done a few tee shirt quilts, but hand quilted them, I didn't need to stabilize them at that time, but for machine quilting...you did it right!!!!! I am going to do it that way next time. Love it!
