Working On the Tee

I have been slacking a little when it comes to new projects.  I have a tee shirt quilt I have been asked to make for a customer.  The problem is I can't make up my mind about the backing.  The customer had thought she wanted a fleece backing, but I am finding that it will be heavier than she really wanted it to be.  So I have kicked around flannel.  But I can't seem to find flannel that will go with the theme of the this quilt.  Of course, I reverted back to good old cotton, but it is not going to be as soft.  What to do?
