Good Morning! Oh, it is suppose to snow here in Ohio again today.  The only good thing I can say about that is, it won't be on the ground long at this time of year.

I just finished the Winter Blues Blog Hop by Quilting Gallery and had a great time!  I have just started to do some of these activities. I retired in 2010 but I was catching up on so many projects, I didn't have time for blogging.  But I am taking the time now.  It is so wonderful to meet new quilting enthusiasts and everyone has such beautiful projects they are working on or completed and the tips and ideas!  Wow, have I learned a lot.

I am working on my Easter wall hanging and hope to finish next week.  Easter is so early this year, I may not get it done!  I don't know why I wait until the season is upon me before I start to make a seasonal quilt.  Which leads me to ask the question - do you make Christmas/Easter/Halloween/Etc quilts six to nine months in advance of the season, or are you like me, don't get in the mood for the holiday until it is upon us?  I am very curious if I am the only one who does that.

Have a great day!

Picture of the Day

This is an art quilt I am still working on.  I was in a challenge last year sponsored by the Janome group when I got so ill I ended up in the hospital.  I missed the deadline for completion so I set it aside and didn't finish it.  I think I am going to bind it and display it.  It was the first thing I ever did outside my comfort zone.
